Automated object tracking using robotic manipulator
Zelený, Miroslav ; Ligocki, Adam (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the tracking of objects using a robotic manipulator Epson C3 and a color camera. The work describes the basic qualities of the device to be used. The OpenCV library and its wrapper EmguCV are used as software tools for computer vision. It discusses the basic issues and principles of tracking objects in the image and introduces some methods of tracking. These methods have been tested and therefore their strengths and weaknesses, which appeared during testing, are listed here. Furthermore, there is a procedure for calculating the new coordinates of the camera and the manipulator effector using homogeneous transformations. The work contains the results of testing the algorithms and their evaluation. The output of the work is a test application for the Epson C3 robot.
Direct and Inverse kinematics of robot EPSON PROSIX C3
Štábl, Martin ; Burian, František (referee) ; Šolc, František (advisor)
This work deal with controlling of robotic arm EPSON both in terms of forward and inverse kinematics. The work describes the procedures how these kinematic chains solved with using knowledge homogeneous transformation. Subsequently are the results of the work simulated using program MatLAB with his toolkit Simulink.
3D Scanning with Proximity Planar Scanner
Lie groups theory in robotics
Horník, Petr ; Vašík, Petr (referee) ; Hrdina, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this thesis we focus on the mathematical description of the forward kinematics in three-dimensional space using orthogonal transformations and matrix theory. Applying the acquired knowledge we solve an example using the method of moving frame. Between bases we pass using the passage matrix and we implement the example in the MATLAB environment. Consequently, we focus on deeper relation with exponential functions and extend the theory by the theory of Lie groups and algebras. Especially, we take notice of the special orthogonal group SO(3). Finally, we enrich the theory with homogeneous transformation and special Euclidean group.
Determination of Motion Parameters in Machine Vision
Dušek, Stanislav ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis describe about determination of camera motion parameters in plane. At first there are introduce the basics of motion tracking, is focused to find out displacement between two input images. Below is describe the algorithm GoodFeatruresToTrack, which find out the most significant point in a first image. The point is search out the good point, which will be easy to track in next image, reduce the data volume and prepare the input information (array of significant point) for the algorithm Lucas-Kanade optical flow. In second part is deal with processing and utilization estimations optical flow. There is median filtration, below is describe computation of homogenous transformation, which describe all affine transformation in affine space. As the result are coordinates, which describe the shift between the two input images as X-axis and Y-axis value. The project used the library Open Computer Vision.
